The WEA Leicestershire County Forum is being held on Saturday 17th May 2014 at the University of Leicester Botanic Garden. As well as discussing WEA matters, the event includes a talk about botanic gardens and a free tour.
10.30 – 11.00 Registration
11.00 Talk by the Botanic Garden Director Richard Gornall “What have Botanic Gardens done for us?”
1200 approx. WEA Matters: Mandy Grocott
12.30 approx Lunch break – bring your own or visit nearby establishments in Oadby. (The Botanic Garden café is not open at this time of year.)
2.00 approx Guided tour of the Gardens. The tour in full lasts for about 1 hour 30 min, but it is possible to drop out earlier. The route is suitable for wheelchair users. (The tour normally costs £3.50 but is free to forum attendees.)
3.30 approx End of Forum
