Council for British Archaeology East Midlands will be hosting a joint conference with FARI Archaeology about some of the new discoveries that have provided fresh insights into the activities of early hunters during a period of rapid climate change at the end of the Ice Age. The results of recent fieldwork will be discussed by a panel of speakers, including Nick Barton, Lynden Cooper, Daryl Garton and Phil Harding, as well as volunteers working on the HLF-funded community project ‘Ice Age Journeys’ near Newark. Further details and booking arrangements can be found at their website.
