The Anglo-Saxons were a people who inhabited Britain from the 5th century AD. Who were they? Where did they come from? What were their lives like? Using evidence from archaeology and history, this course sets out to answer these questions and more. No previous knowledge is needed.

We intend to visit the new Staffordshire Hoard Exhibition at Birmingham Museum in June 2015. This visit is not part of the Anglo-Saxon course but will compliment it. Students attending Stephanie’s Leicester courses will be given details of the visit and associated costs as soon as they are finalised.
