The Anglo-Saxons were a people who inhabited Britain from the 5th Century AD. Who were they? Where did they come from? What were their lives like? Using evidence from archaeology and history, this course sets out to answer these questions and more.

We intend to visit the new Staffordshire Hoard Exhibition at Birmingham Museum in June. This visit is not part of Stephanie’s course but will compliment it. Student’s attending the Anglo-Saxon course will be given details of the proposed visit and associated costs (travel) at the first session of the course.
